Virtual Lumia Machines 

In 1998, my tools became digital. I began creating Digital Lumia compositions using optical simulation software.

 

I build virtual machines inside the computer that use algorithms to simulate lenses, motors, prisms, reflectors and light sources. These machines generate silent compositions of movement, color and image transformation. Compositions are rendered and output in a range of resolutions and formats.
